I went to the hooch for first time last week. At first I was happy with the course. For an executive course it was ok. The greens were in poor condition, as well as the tee boxes. Then after we teed off on hole 17 we were told we had to leave the course, because it was closed. There was plenty of light left, and the ranger was very rude about it. I have never been kicked off a course when there is plenty of light left to finish a round. I was incredibly shocked at how rude this ranger was. With so much good golf in Georgia, don't waste your money on this place. There are tons of other courses that are in better condition and cheaper. Add in the attitude of the staff and you can do much better.

New Management...... Ruining My Favorite Neighborhood Golf Course:-(
Hopefully this helps them get the message......before it's too late.......Never used Yelp! before.....but had to today.....can't let them ruin a good thing.....
Great course, been playing here since it first started lately almost every other week, never had any issues, great friendly folks and great family oriented place......Overpriced but was worth it because they had lenient kid friendly policies.........
That is of course until TODAY.........find out new management is changing these rules.....and worse have some jerks working as Rangers.......Have no inkling of how to deal/talk with people......especially when you are overpriced and have a decent place right next to you and a full fledged, 18 hole golf course in Collins Hill that you can play at half price and one that is in great shape since new management took it over...........
Bye Bye Hooch:-(, See you Next week Collins Hill :-).......

Had a good time. However, the greens were in bad shape from golfers not repairing their ball marks. Probably won't play here again because of this. Seems like a small action gives golfers the hardest time. Why people can't take a few seconds to repair their ball marks is confusing to me.

Nice executive course. Great layout to work on your iron play. Course is very well maintained. My only issue is not with the course, but the golfers who do not fix their ball marks.
