Nice layout but dry as a bone.
This is a great course! I have played here a couple of times over the last few weeks, and I really enjoy it. I just moved to this area from down South, and this course is one of the best public golf courses I have played for the price. The course is in really good condition, and the greens are amazing. The staff is very friendly, and work to make your experience a good one. The only downfall I found was the driving range was irons only. I really would have liked to hit the driver a few times before tee-off because it pushes 7,000 yards from the "tips", but other than that both of my experiences were great. I plan on going back on a regular basis.
Played yesterday, fairways were in pretty good shape as were the greens. The only negative for this course would be the tee boxes, they were in rough shape. Staff was friendly and the scenery was nice that included historial markers.
I had a great experience at Lee's Hill! A very nice place to play some golf. The people were nice and they had the ladies drive around almost every other hole to get drinks, etc. Greens and Fairways were in good shape. The roughs were a little soft, but I actually liked it because I'm a beginner.
Course was in great shape, especially considering the drought and 100* temps we have had for the past month! Greens were a bit long and sloooow, but they were well maintained for the most part. Some fairways had just been aerated and the sand traps were the gravel sand stuff, but those are just small maintenance issues that all courses have. Over all the course was in very good shape. Definitely in better shape than a couple other courses, and one in particular that is just as expensive that I just played! YUCK!I will hopefully be going back again soon.
