Played in June 2012 and I have played all over the world inc Ireland, Scotland and even Tahiti and this is in the top 5. Great, fabulous lay out and the condition of the course was fantastic. Pro shop is just as good and if you like links golf you MUST play.

I've played here the past two years that I've gone down to the coast, and WOW!!! This is a beautiful golf course!!! I look forward to playing there!!! This is a hidden gem in Texas! If you're a golfer, you NEED to tee it up at Newport Dunes!!!

This course is awesome i just wish they would curtail there prices a bit lower for military, Its not like there is alot of military personnel like other states. Savanah GA has military rates at 95% of its course no more than 50 to 60 on prime hours or through out the day. Other than that this is a Golfers Paradise be prepared to lose balls no matter what.

Great course. It's certainly easy to lose a ton of balls but, I'm a high handicapper and still managed a 92. The course is kept in great shape and the scenery is beautiful. The iced towels were a great touch on a hot day as well. Definitely a must play in the state of Texas.
