This Course is no longer Called Maverick, The New Owners renamed it Riverbend. Since the last review above in 2009, the course management his improved greatly and although there are still some areas that the management are looking to improve the course is in terrific condition. The New management have added a new golf shop and the original building that housed both the Golf shop and a small bar/lounge area has been turned into a restaurant. The setup of the tees Black to Copper for the men, with red tees for the juniors and ladies make for a good challenge for all handicap ranges. If you live in the San Antonio Area or are just visiting the area this is well worth a try ... The Green fees are reasonable (fee includes cart).
