True story!!! My father-in-law NAILED a goose in the chest on a par 3 with an elevated green over some water. His tee shot went low and smacked the heck out of the bird... The other geese gathered around the ball, then others started pecking at the injured goose untill he went under a tree and kind of recovered. I'm sure it hurt like he**, but it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a golf course. The hole after that he eagled... nice tee shot then a very lucky 7 iron worm burner down hill right into the cup!!! Was a birdie of a day- couldn't resist.
Other than the greens that we nicknamed browns, the course was fun to play. The amount of sand on the greens and the patches of grass on them played absolute havoc on putting. If they resurface the greens i will play there more often
