Very friendly staff and nice course in good shape. The greens are coming in nicely but are still like putting on a wash board depending on where you are on the green. They should be in much better shape by late fall if they make it through the dog days of summer. Overall it’s a great deal for $26 to ride 18. It is very short with 10 par 3’s on the course. They have done a great job in the short time they have owned this course, praise to the new owners on the job they have done. It would be nice to get rid of a couple par 3’s to lengthen the course if that is possible.

Rock Springs is well kept, very fun to play and learn as it is not too difficult. Amenities are good, but could use a good face lift. Great price and I will return to this course if in the area.

This is a FUN course, but bring lots of balls!

This is my "home" course, so I may be a little biased. There has been many improvements made since last season. There have been tees added on or expanded, so the course is a little longer now, not by much, but enough to change the way some of the holes play. The greens have recovered nicely from last seasons heat (everyone in our area struggled with their greens during the hot months last year)and the course is in nice shape. It's a fun play & pretty challenging for it's size due to the hillyness of the layout. Well worth the $20 to play ($25 on weekends & holidays)

I played this course in the late fall of 2010. The greens had obviously suffered from the extreme heat during the summer of 2010; every green was bumpy with sod patches and small bare spots. I did not make a putt over 3 feet.
This is an executive-style course, with each nine featuring five par-3s, three par-4s and one par-5. The terrain is very hilly -- there are no flat holes.
I was disappointed with the course layout. There are large distances between the green and the next tee box at sevral places -- between #2 green and #3 tee; #7 green and #8 tee; #8 green and #9 tee; and #9 green and #10 tee. The architect also seems to have a thing for dramatic downhill par threes -- holes #1, #8, #9, and #12 feature long vertical drops from tee to green.
I intend to play it again during the late spring when it is in better shape.
One more thing -- rent a cart unless you are in tip-top shape. As mentioned before, the course is very hilly with long distances between greens and the next tee.

The current management is doing a great job of keeping this course in "tip-top" shape. There is a great mix of Par 3s and longer Par holes no matter which side of the course you start on. There is a PGA pro in house to help you with your game. The club house amenities are improving as well. The only thing missing are restrooms along the course. The people are always very nice and eager to help. The membership is affordable too!
