Nice course.Played Weekapaug today on a nice, cool, very windy day. This course is open to the public only outside of the summer season. Two of the holes were under construction, so there were only 7 holes open. Pace of play was quick - we played 21 holes in 4 hours. The course is on Winnapaug Pond, but the pond only comes into play on a couple of holes. The course is parkland-style (but with links-style wind!). Fairways were in great shape - hardly a divot visible. Once the renovations to the two holes are complete, this course will be a nice play.Weekapaug is about 3,100 yards from the back tees. It is a standard layout of two par 5s, two par 3s, and five par 4s. The sixth hole is probably their toughest - it is a long par 4 with bunkers all over the place and plays towards the ocean, so most likely this hole plays into the wind quite a bit.The cost today was only $20 to play as many holes as you wanted. I am not sure if that is their regular rate or a special rate because some of the holes were closed, but nonetheless, it was very much worth it today.A recommended course if you are in the area.
