This course is really starting to come back around, fairways are beautiful greens are well maintained and there putting a lot of money into this place to bring it back. Designed by the same guy that did Merion this course is a classic. Just played it today; HUGE improvement from past plays. Keep it up!

The skeleton of a good golf course exists here. If you're a golf architecture nerd then you'll surely appreciate the pedigree of the course and recognize the nuances it has to offer. If not, you'll think it's a run-of-the-mill city course that needs more TLC.

This is the only GOLF COURSE I can not call and place an order for a set of clubs, balls or gloves in BULK and they tell you if you order it in October you will have it in APRIL when we pay our bill give me a break.

The maintenance contractor has made repairs, improvements and a consistant effort to put bring beautiful gem back shining. The design has been challenging from the start but now it is also a nice place to play golf. No 2 holes are alike and the creek makes the first 9 a shot maker's challange while the distances and topography make the back nine challenging in distance and shot making. Go and enjoy for a great price!

This is the crappiest course I have ever played. Worse then Walnut Lane. And for $50, this is a total rip off. The tee boxes were sand or dirt. I broke more tees trying to put them into the ground then I did swinging. I cant even imagine how crappy the cheaper Karakung course is. Not only that, the Starter laughed at us when we were there early, and said "Dont ever expect to get out on time here". Soo whats the point of a tee time? Awful experience, will never go back.

One of the nicest public golf courses I have ever played. If you like the natural Pennyslvania wilderness, you will love the front nine. Woods, water, nature and challenging holes. Very picturesque.

The back nine is open with many holes next to each other but for the most part there is shade at every green so you can take a breather on a hot summer day.

My major complaint is the shape of the T boxes. Some of them are literally hard packed sandy dirt.

Played the course on 7/5/10 for the first time under current management and was pleasantly surprised by the conditions except for the tee boxes. A boogie golfer with any distance off the tee would be better challenged playing the blue tees on most holes.
