My group of ladies have a ball when we go here. The course is always beautiful and the greens are cut short. We like to walk so this flat course is perfect for us. The staff is always friendly and go out of their way to accommodate us. Their Senior rate is a steal so we get great bang for our buck.
I rate this course very good for all golfers looking to have an enjoyable 18 holes of moderately challenging golf. With 4600 yards the par is 66. Greens, fairways and rough are all maintained well and very playable. The staff is very cordial. I have been playing at least once a week for the last 3 months and have found the pace of play very good. The members and regulars are very friendly.
Date: 5/2012. Course is in very good condition. But not going back: BRUTALLY, AGONIZINGLY slow play. I was playing 2 golf balls and still had time to read War & Peace while waiting for the people in front of me: no kidding - 5-10 minute waits per hole. If the slow players would show some kindness and let people play thru, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But not taking that chance again; gave up and walked off the course. A shame - I think it's the best I've seen the course.
This is a short course that is completely flat with little challenge or interesting holes. That's the bad news. The good news is that it's a wonderful place to regain your confidence after several poor outings at much more difficult courses which will propel you to play better the next time out...I speak with experience. It's also well maintained and the greens are in excellent condition. The price at $15 to walk on weekends is a steal (you don't need to ride) and they do have logo ball, a huge plus in my books. Overall not bad, but probably wouldn't go back unless the game starts slipping away in which case I'd go to find my confidence, a much overlooked value to how well you play.
This Course has really gone down hill. I have been golfing there for two years and watched this Course and it's Staff go from being Excellent to absolute Trash.....yes Trash. Fairways used to be well kept, roughs short, and greens smooth. Today the Fairways are like Medium Roughs, the Rough is a Jungle, and the Greens are a hideos mess of divot holes and gash marks. The courteous Staff I loved two years ago has become a pack of ill-tempered Grump-aloic and the worst of them is the Marshall. Heaven forbid you walk this course. Forget that the Foursome in front of you in carts is log jamming the course; because you walking the Marshall keeps telling you to hurry up and from time to time let the group behind you pass because they are in carts. Just because you're walking doesn't mean your the cause of the log jam. I am sick of people in carts in front of me playing super slow while the Marshall harps on me and my foursome because we are walking. He might want to pay attention to who is really jamming up the course instead of harashing walkers. Oh, the one time I used a cart it kept sputtering out, I had to keep chocking it to get it moving, and heaven forbid I ask for a cart that works. I walked faster then that cart moved and who was the Marshall hasseling that day.....the people behind us who where walking faster then our slower then slower carts. This course used to have only one drawback....no challenge. No it has no maintance, no courtesy, no sense, and you get the point. What once made this course charming is gone. If you like being harshed, having carts that don't work and course conditions that are worse then my front lawn then by all means play here, if not go somewhere else. Treetop costs as much and is far more pleasent, plus no Marshall giving you grief.
