Played course on October 2, 2013. Fairways were overwatered, greens were not cut and very inconsistent. The pins were placed on ridges, tucked in close to sand traps, or in areas of extreme undulations. Course would have been more enjoyable with normal pin placements, every pin was placed in a difficult position. Enjoyed the scenery and the layout, every hole is different. However, enjoyment was cancelled by difficulty in approach shots and putting. The driving range was closed, it is obvious the course is conserving cost.
Overrated, too expensive for the condition it is in. Lots of high weeds in the rough near the fairways give it a really unkempt look. For the average golfer, expect to lose your ball if your drive just barely leaks off the fairway. A great layout and cool elevation changes are wasted by lack of maintenance.
This course is definitely worth playing if you are in the area. Great clubhouse, great course, beautiful views from many of the tee boxes. Price was a little high, but I still think it was well worth my $72 to play on the weekend. I will be playing this again next time I go to Canton.
Way over priced, greens were not the best, very slow play. Legends much nicer for half the price
Outrageously overpriced when you consider you could play Windmill Lakes or Seven Hills for less than 1/2 price. The greens are HORRIBLE!!!! The only good part about this course is #17 and #18. Playing 18 into a crowded deck at the clubhouse has a tournament feel. Somebody should tell the superintendent how much they charge, because the course was in poor shape at best. The course looks much tougher than it actually is, huge fairways and only 1 tight tee shot from the back tees. If it wasn't for 17 and 18 I would hve asked for my money back. Seriously
