Thousand Island Country Club changed ownership in June of 2014. Since then the focus has been on turf recovery on the old course. A redesign of the old course on some tee locations and relocation of tee boxes trying to recover the original design of Seth Reynor. The Old Course open in 1894 the same year the USGA was formed. Some building renovation is taking place such as the Villas and the Marina. Meanwhile the stimp on the Old Course greens is around 10. A great staff is there to greet you. Rob Peluso is GM, Mark Benz, PGA Head Professional and Dave Getner as Superintendent. The 2016 season is here and this course is ready to go.
