Absolutely the WORST course management ever seen anywhere! No doubt that the 2 floods in late 2012 caused massive damage. But when asked the condition of the course on the phone, I was told that it was "playable". Well, not exactly (they REALLY exaggerated the truth). 1 of the 4 bridges on the course is completely disabled. Course management "says it will not be repaired for about 2 years" ???The fairways are not green grass. It is brown grass painted green? Can you believe that? The grass around the holes is mostly green sand with a little short green grass here and there.Trash (plastic bottles, cardboard, styrofoam parts, broken tree limbs, etc.) abounds everywhere as tho it has never been picked up. Mud is everywhere on the back 9 holes in particular. Your shoes will weigh about 10# each by the time you finish: they will be caked with mud!!!This course deserves to be closed until and unless course management cleans it up and makes it a valuable course to play in Las Vegas. Personally, I won't be back until I see some changes!!! I have played this course about a dozen times prior to the summer of 2012, and it COULD be a GREAT challenging course. But until their management takes control and makes required changes ... well, just go elsewhere in the LV valley. There are plenty of other courses to choose from. If the owner of the course goes broke in the meanwhile, that's just too bad. Golf courses require extensive on-going maintenance which is costly. Just forgoing the maintenance or minimizing it is NOT the answer.
This course is improving and the price is right. But the best value is their player development program it reduces the green fee and gives you free range balls. The reduced rate only applies to twilight which is not bad except in the summer when it is to hot.One other thing the p.d.p is only for residents of Las Vegas NV.
Just got off the course about 2 hours ago. What a horrible experience! Being from out of town and playing at Legacy Golf Club the day before we expected a lot more. First, the green fees are so high for a course that's in such bad condition it's mystifying why they need to charge so much money. During the round of 18 holes, I saw not 1 maintenance worker or marshal on the whole course. The greens are in VERY bad condition (sand, weeds, dead grass) ... speaking of dead grass the course is FULL of it. To top it off the course goes through an obvious crime filled low income area, a sewer with homeless people in it, and lots of gang graffiti all over the place. I should of known what this place was about when I saw they allowed Denim ...Save your money, go someplace else and enjoy the game of golf.
