I believe Miry Run has been out of business for at least a couple years. It was okay when it was operating. Isn't zero stars an option?

Played this course today and found it in poor condition. Crab grass everywhrere and tee boxes torn up. Sand traps had large stones showing.

Just a caviat to start..lol. The April 09 review had to be written by staff or the owner, but the Sept 08 review was probably a golfer any course might have trouble pleasing...so I'll keep it real. Miry is a better course than the amount you have to pay to play on it. It's not Pebble Beach, but is pretty well kept. Decent, not great fairways, but above average true greens. Some cool holes with water, o.k scenery, kinda neat playing next to a small airport. Additionally, its two best attributes are the price..$20 to walk mid afternoon on a summer weekend is a great value for the decency of the course. The other great feature is that it doesn't get too much traffic making play fast, again, even on a summer weekend. They also have logo balls, a huge plus for me. The only drawback I can see is that the water coolers all were empty which was really bad considering how hot it was, but you can't have everything. Overall rating..A-. Btw, don't know how the food is so don't ask...lol. Last time I checked, I usually go to a golf course to play golf and not eat, but to each his or her own. P.s my rating aren't saving accurately so here they are...Amenities, 3.5, Difficulty 3, Maintenance 4, Scenery 3.5 Value 5, Overall 4

Played on 6-30-11 for the first time. Found the course to be in above average conditon. Great value found on Golfnow.com, green fee & cart for $17.00 for a 2 p.m. tee time and finished the round by myself in under 3 hours. Greens and fairways were in very good conditons. A few tee boxes were so-so. Some not very long holes but overall an above average experience.
