Play is very slow, foursome in front of us played several mulligans. Course was in disrepair, one tee box had no grass, we were hitting off dirt and rock. Would not waste my money again too many other quality golf courses in the area.

Played the course this past weekend under new management.
Was charged an incresed rate and course was worse than ever.
Greens were unputtable and there was much debris all around.
Won't play until rates come way down.

In the few short days that the State leased this course to a private company, the difference has been remarkable. Greens look great, fairways are a vast improvement and the rough is coming in nice. The pro shop is well stocked and they have all new mats on the driving range. They even have a Head Golf professional. I'M IMPRESSED! This course has always had a beautiful layout. Can't wait until golf season is in full bloom.

What a shame that this course is so poorly maintained. Its in a nice location. Is laid out well and has good bones but the general maintenance is poor. All of the tee boxes where unleveled and had little grass. The fairways were very patchy and the greens where hit and miss. Most had weeds growing in them. Me and my playing partner appeared to be the only people that knew how to repair ball marks. Like I said. This would be a great course if maintenance was improved because currently $28 for a walk-on twilight round is WAY over priced.

The course seemed to be in pretty good condition. It was 47 degrees when I played, so there were not many people on the course. The greens were VERY slow. Oh, some guy a few holes back from me picked up my ball and walked off with it. Fortunately My partner and I saw him. He totally lied about it, but I took his ball from his bag and called it even. For the same reason people in jean shorts and tank tops shouldn't dress that way on the course, dishonest thieves shouldn't be allowed on the course. If you dress nicer, you'll have a bit of dignity about yourself- for the most part. Besides that fool, I enjoyed my round.
