Been going there for last 7 yrs. Like the staff and the course. I am a senior golfer and almost always in a good mood,referring to a prior review! Rudeness personified! I certainly will enjoy it more knowing that tight @$!*% won't be returning! They are always working to improve the conditions but the course is very playable and fun too.The harsh winters haven't been kind to any course in this area the past couple years.Buckmeadow rebounded nicely this year.
I have been playing at this golf course for several years and up until recently my overall my experience has been positive. It lacks amentities and is not always challenging, so it is definitely a course for beginners. However, this summer I have had several bad experiences with the rude man who works at the front desk. His demeanor is condescending and he has a nasty way of treating paying customers by yelling at them. This is a course for old people, and most of them are in a bad mood when they are playing or too impatient to observe golf etiquette. They book people closely together and then it gets too congested while playing. While it is a good value, it is not worth the aggravation of dealing with rude staff and golfers.
