Great course to play. Its always in great shape the bent greens are slower in summer but once fall rolls around they speed them up. This is a course that allows you to get a little loose with the driver but second shots and positioning are key to this course. Its a great Fazio design. There is always trade winds coming off the inter-coastal waterway and makes the finishing hole 15-17 play a lot longer. Even though there seems like few water or traps they placed perfectly throughout the course.
Played this course during the middle of May 2010. The numbers for the course from their scorecard are (Tee Box/yardage/rating/slope): Gold/7,112/74.8/138, Blue/6,686/72.7/131, White/6,205/70.3/127, Green/5,655/67.7/122, Red/5,145/70.4/121. It is a very solid course with fine facilites and conditioning. The scenery is ok, there's houses all along the course and sometimes they're a little close to the course but not horrible on a whole. Not a whole lot of water or overly bunkered. I really can't come up with anything great about it but also nothing bad about it either. It's a very solid course that is a good play.
