This course is a GEM with just a few small problems that should be addressed immediately. First of all I've been playing this course since I was old enough to swing a club and I'm 30 now. Over the years it's had its ups and downs but first things first. The staff. When you walk in the barn you immediately get the feeling like you're not welcome. I believe the mans name is Johnny but he's a complete @$!*% hole and should be nowhere near the course because everyone I've taken to play there have commented on his attitude. If people felt welcome it would help with their business. Next is the cart paths. Roots from neighboring trees have pushed the cheap asphalt into nothing but speed bumps. If this course was ran by a business man and wanted to keep players on the course it would be an excellent place to battle your friends on the weekend. The layout is absolutely wonderful. It is full of character and fun. I played last weekend on 3/30/17 and the course was in pretty good shape given the management. Of course when I walked in to pay for my round I got the same feeling I always do. Like no one is welcome. I can't wait for this course to get into the right hands and give it the TLC it deserves. Played today, 28 July. I chose the course based upon the June review. The course is very rough around the edges. I bet this was a great course years ago during the real estate and golf boom. It's not now. Most of the greens were gone - sprayed over the black mold with a green substance. Very sparse grass on the greens. Cart paths gone, areas that need repair. It does have a lot of challenging holes - elevation changes. I just wish it were in better shape. Fortunately, only paid $20.00.

Played this course on 6/4/15. Paid $20 senior rate. I thought the course was in pretty good condition given the drought we've been in. There were a few "sparse" places in some of the fairways...but overall they were in pretty good condition. Tee boxes were also fairly well grown in. The course is pretty hilly with lots of uphill and downhill tee shots. There was a nice mix of straight ahead shots and dog legs. The Par 5's were fairly short...however..they were all uphill so they played like a Par 5. One of the Par 4's on the back 9 was pretty narrow..and requires a placement shot off the tee. All in all...I liked the course...and will be going back. Some nice Mtn views on the back nine. The negatives is the signage..which is pretty sparse.( had no idea where #10 was..and one hole had us searching for the correct tee box). Some of the cart paths were a little rough. They also don't take credit cards...so bring cash. They do have an ATM if you need one. For the $$$..it is a very good deal!

I have been playing this course for 13 years. It is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Repairs have been made to cart paths sand traps have sand and greens are in great shape. This course has always been worth playing. But with the changes I think it will be a lot harder to get a tee time.

This course has GREAT POTENTIAL , but it is a little rough around the edges..Members don`t even play out of the sandtraps because they are in such bad condition and the cartpaths are as bad as i have ever been on .. The course has a great layout though and could be a gem if some money was put into it , but they only charge $22.00 and less for Seniors ..If money is spent to fix it up , then the rates would probably be much higher.
