Hats off to Bruce Matthews. It seems the criteria he used for this course design was to build it for enjoyment for golfers of all abilities. The fairways are well conditioned and the greens are fair. If you are learning the game or a high handicapper, you will find that you can't get into too much trouble as there are adequate bail outs. A mid to low handicapper can score well and also work on their game. This is a great course for couples to play together. If you just want to hit balls, it also has a very nice practice area.
This course isn't worth the money. It isn't challenging at all. This course has very little scenery. The greens are terrible and have huge blotches. The only good thing is that for someone who wants to walk alot, it has no underlation to be concerned with. Overall I would say that the majority of the coursed in the area are a better bang for the buck.
