On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, I scheduled a tee time for myself and my CTO for Wednesday, October 13, 2021. We drove from Indianapolis, IN, to Legacy Golf Course in MI to golf this course as we had before while meeting with clients. Our tee time was for 8:56 am, and at no point did this course inform us they were doing anything to the course other than resurfacing the blacktop. While we have golfed this course many times before, we felt it was a great way to start the day.Upon arrival, we still were not informed of anything. We set off, and the first hole was tremendous, but coming into the second hole, we noticed a 1/2" of sand covering the green. I called the course clubhouse and informed them that you couldn't putt because of the sand. They said it would be fixed and that it should be that much. We went on to two other hoes only to watch as they poured so much sand into the greens that you couldn't see any grass nor even putt. It was the same as going to the beach and trying to practice putting. This made gold impossible, and the group we were with agreed, and we went to the course clubhouse and asked for a raincheck for another time as we were leaving to play another course. They laughed at us and said they couldn't do anything for us. We even showed them the video and images. While in the clubhouse, many more people were coming in with the same complaint. The younger staff were condescending and unprofessional. Before writing this review, I first reached out to the club manager and assistant manager to see if we could get a raincheck, and they didn't respond to our emails or phone calls. This is not what I have come to expect from this course, and it con only, and that the owners may need to look into mew managers who can do the job with professionalism.Matt Shock was emailed twice and still didn't reply. Bill Johnson was emailed and didn't reply only to show further that this course, although typically very lovely, has fallen to poor management and is no longer a choice for us for future events and or outings. The beautiful people at Monroe Golf and Country Club managed to get us on their course that day, and we were able to play still at an additional cost, of course. While I am not saying this course is terrible, their staff and professionalism or caring attitude for their customers were questioned today. Since Facebook doesn't give us a place for images, I will paste them in a comment on this review.
