Fantastic course. Well maintained. Drained well. Was challenging. Lots of water in play. I liked it.

Played Woodmore on a very rainy Tuesday in May. The course drained very well and was very playable. It certainly would play better in drier conditions, but there are plenty of courses that would not have been playable on a rainy day like this one.

The course features plenty of doglegs. You can count the straight holes other than par 3s on one hand. The back nine has a bunch of neat holes, like 14 (a par 3) and 15 (with a full hole water hazard on your left). Nice finishing hole - a par 5 with water on your left.

A recommended play.
