Played here on 11/23/12. We started out an hour and 10 minutes late b/c of frost conditions. They scattered groups all over, which created problems later in the round. Staff catered to "members" by having the course marshal hound non-members about pace even though we finished the front 9 in 2 hours (course in 4hrs 5mins). Guy was on some sort of power trip and was bored. The members here are pretentious as hell and look down upon you like you're intruding on there "property." One foursome behind us started teeing off with us maybe 200 yds. in front of them and missed my friend by about 10 yds. They did it again 2 holes later and we had to get medieval on them. Conditions were meek and comparable to Clustered Spires on a REALLY bad day. Staff really needs to overhaul this course and "country club" or it will go to the way-side like some other area courses. Paid $40 for 18. I maybe would've paid $20 and felt like I got fair value. Pretty views of the mountain. Glade Valley is better than this place and a lot more friendly. Decent pro-shop and nice kitchen w/ full bar. Greens very fast and sloped. Bottom-line - Beware of this place! Take your money and go to Black Rock down the road or Hollow Creek. Or if you have the money, Musket Ridge.~M. Ryan
