I’ve played this course over 50 times. Today we had to pay over phone because of coronavirus. Most golf course are doing the same. We were courteous and payed all four players in phone call without asking about green fees. Mistake, charged $54.03 a person. Called and pro said they raised their rates $10 due to demand. Course wasn’t busy, it’s in decent shape. Worth about $35. I golf often, better deals in area.

2017 was a wonderful year to play golf at this course! I enjoyed several rounds with the ladies. The cart paths are new making for a smooth ride in gasoline carts - no waiting on carts to charge. Lots of wooded areas had been cut and trees trimmed. WOW, the sand was new and lots of it in the traps. The course played so well and was extremely manicured. I commend the staff and grounds crew on a job well done. Looking forward to 2018 golf at this course.

Things have changed since the earlier glowing reviews were written. When we played today, the tees were gouged out, the fairways featured many, many dead and bare spots and the bunkers were compacted dirt, not sand. The greens were the only part of the course in acceptable condition. Beyond that, the course is like two different nines: the front nine is through wide-open meadows with very few trees. The back nine is squeezed into very hilly, heavily treed ground between massive homes and features blind tees shots on several holes and blind approach shots on several others. Locals familiar with the layout no doubt understand how to play the course, but it can be very frustrating for newcomers. Gibson Bay in nearby Richmond is prettier, in better condition, and more fun to play.

Can be a little pricey, but worth it. Beautiful course, quite challenging. Great greens and fairways. One of the best in Kentucky.
