This is sort of a novelty course like Pebble Beach. The novelty of playing 4 holes "inside" the Indianapolis 500 racetrack. You get a perspective of how 260,000 fit in the bleacher seats. Without these holes inside the track, it was just another nice, well taken care of, golf course. Pete Dye did a great job of routing this course with the creek running throughout the course. AS for the price, I thought $90.00 was a little steep, especially for seniors (the backbone for weekday golf). It is definitely a good test for all golfers with 4 sets of tees. Fairways, greens & sandtraps were in good shape for Sept. I don't think I'll be back, but it's a course to play once in your lifetime. If you haven't been to the Speedway before, take in the Museum and the ride around the track ($5.00 each).Nothing special in the pro shop, but the cart guy was extremely friendly & the ranger was very helpful along with the beverage cart.
