Great track, has everything you look for in a challenging course. The Guy in the pro shop was super nice.

This golf course can be very challenging especially playing the back tees, depending on your handicap. Front side is tight and a shot makers side, the Back is longer and holes #12,13 and 14 can make or break a good score. The greens at Spring Creek are some of the best in Illinois, especially after they are freshly cut. I think for the price you can't go wrong. All day green fees and you just have to pay extra for a cart if you want to play more then 18 holes. They even have senior tees now too which is great for the elderly crowd.

This is a beautiful 18 holes course, family owned, operated, and maintained. I have played golf for over 50 years, great course, great people, and a nice place to enjoy a round of golf. Have played golf on over 200 courses, this is my home course, and enjoy it immensly. The front nine is kind of tight, well place shots are required, back nine is much more open, but holes are also longer, takes great skill to shoot even par here, great value and challenge for the money, would highly recommend, been a member for 33 years now.

Challanging course, tight front nine, difficult back nine. 12,13,14 is Illinois Valley's "Amen Corner" a must play for the golf advocate.

This course could be something special; unfortunately, it's not. For almost $40, I was expecting much more. The front 9 is in poor shape. The front 9 fairways are patchy and have multiple hardpan spots. On all 18 holes, the tee boxes are uneven with dip holes that could be easily filled in. The greens are in great shape but getting there is the tough part. Ball washers need new paint, the benches need to be replaced, and the blue cut-off barrels for garbage are an eyesore. The carts are easily over 15 years old and could barely make it up hills. I understand golf economics and how tough the weather can be on courses; however, for what they charge to play here, I was expecting much more. Many of these flaws could be fixed with just some plain ol' TLC, dirt, seed, paint, and sweat. This place could really be something special, someday.

Decent course, relatively inexpensive. Fairways show signs of flood damage. Burnt in some places, but mostly playable. Greens were soft and in fair shape. Green fees for 18 allows all day play. $36.50 w/ cart
