I am a fairly new and bad golfer and found this course to be a little beyond my skill level, lost a lot of balls. Not so forgiving if you don't hit straight. Went a day after a big storm and there was a lot of standing water in the fairways. I'd try it again.
Mature muni course. Mostly flat with little elevation change.Kind of flat and on the easy side, but don't be fooled by the short 6100 yards from the blue tees. Water comes in to play on several holes, as well as several dog-leg holes and an island green on #2. Certainly challenging if you don't hit straight. Plenty of mature trees to get lost in. Maintenance is lacking in some spots of the fairways still. Be prepared for the possibility of a 5 hour round on certain days and wear a helmet. Proshop has small selection of balls and accessories. Good value for the price.Light menu in clubhouse. Good bev. cart service during summer months.Leagues during the season. It always seems to be busy when trying to play here. I would advise to call ahead.
