Any course that starts you off on a par 3 without a range nor a decent practice putting green is bush league. Goes par 3, then short par 5,then another par 3. Starter either needs to space the tee times further apart or have a ranger out there to keep groups moving. For morning weekend tee times, they should not allow groups out there unless it's a full foursome. There was a 3some in front and behind our four. This was a 5-1/2 hour round where we were all waiting for minutes at a time between shots. Beverage cart girl we only saw once. Too many par 3's and other par 4's where you shouldn't hit driver. Since we got a pre-book online discount, it was ok for $45--the greens and tee box were in good shape, but for the true golf enthusist, won't be going back. Also, the front 9 is more scenic then the back.
Not a big fan of this place. Staff was nice enough. Quirky layout, conditions not great. Course is marked horribly. And my biggest pet peeve on courses is taken to a new level here. People don't fix their ball marks!!! And with a course that has 6 par 3's, that is simply unacceptable. 5 par 5's were okay, but most of the Par 4's were odd and tricked up. Sorry to say, I won't be going back. Much better courses in the area to go. Also, no putting green open and no range, and impossible to walk due the crazy layout. Needs a redesign.
Nice course, tough from the tips. Biggest issue I had was customer service and maintenance. Quoted lower rate when made tee time and upon arrival was charged $12 more. Staff made no attempt to resolve. Bunkers not raked and course had been watered waay to much.Better courses for the rate!
