My husband and i traveled from Arkansas to play Veenker GC on Tuesday August 13, 2024. What a blast!!!! The course is in wonderful shape. It is lush, green, and just about perfect. We are about 12-16 handicappers and found it challenging but not discouraging. We used our Garman and had to drive forward on a few holes to see the layout. I would highly recommend playing Veenker if possible. We also enjoyed the folks in the pro-shop and bought Iowa State items!

Great golf course to play. Difficult par 5's with many doglegs and elevation challenges. One par 3 is on a huge hill surrounded by bunkers which makes for a great challenge. The problem I had was when I was going to one of the holes a group of golfers were very rude and discourteous. The price is a little high for the weekend but is great during the weekdays. Other than the golfers incident I would recommend this course to anybody to play.
