WOW!! Ken M. You must have really had a bad day of golf. I have been to Shady Oaks many times, and I have never encountered anyone there who is not friendly and courteous. I like the challenges that the course elevation provides and stay out of the trees they will cost you strokes. Needs more water but that's about it, overall a great place to play.
This is by far the Worst coarse near des moines that i have golfed at. Horrible conditions, rude very unclassy employees (especially Bob!). Bob's quote of the day "I have enough money - I don't need yours!" I will update with more information on my experience once my official complaint with the BBB is filed. I would never recommend anybody waste their time with this coarse. Willow Creek coarse is 10 minutes away and 2 dollars more with awesome coarse and wonderful and classy employee's.
