Very good course for the average golfer. Probably the best value in the area. Course seems well maintained. Some challenging holes. Club house is very nice. Staff, not so much. Too many grouchy old guys working there. Real popular, so pace of play is quite slow. No course rangers (would maybe help the pace of play). NO BEVERAGE CART (couldn't believe this, I thought EVERY course had a drink cart). NO DRINKING WATER on the course either. This is a MUST in So. FLA.

I had not played the Village in years and was very impressed by the improvements they made to the club. The new clubhouse is a great place to hang out and have a few beers. The practice facility is also very good. I played with a couple of older guys and they thought it was awesome. My guess is the greens were running about an 8, but smooth. I would have preferred the greens a little faster, but they were smooth. The price was right and the people were friendly.
