I have been a member and a player at the city owned Saints Course for more than 5 years. I enjoy playing here because of the short driving distance form my home, the price which varies during the year, the challenge of the course, especially the front nine with the 2 long par 3s, the large putting green and the practice range. Most times the greens are slower than other courses, but he overall condition and amenties are above average. I find the staff inside the pro shop, the starters, the rangers and bag men are courteous and friendly. I recommend this couse to all golfers.
I like the course. You have your good days and your bad days. Even when its backed up its great. Besides what else could be better than playing golf. Great course for the price.
I have played here a few times in competitions, for some reason the back nine is way easier for me than the front. Anyway, the course has always been in good condition, friendly staff and the layout isn't bad.
For the money, the course is a good value. The only drawback is that the greens left something to be desired. Several had bare spots, some type of weed had infested a few of the greens and overall, they putted slow. The amenities were acceptable. The Pro shop personnel were friendly; however, the staff that took your bags and met you after the round lacked any "personal touch" that would make you want to come back. Even with this distraction, the course is worth playing.
