After reading the previous review, we were concerned to what we would find but decided to try Ventura anyway. Our experience could not have been better. The course is in great shape, especially the greens. We met Josh, he is friendly and personable. We stayed for lunch and the food is great, and found the entire staff to be excellent. We just played again, about 2 weeks since our 1st round, and Josh remembered us by name, and the course was in even better shape. We look forward to playing Ventura again.
Absolutely embarrassing course condition. The course director, Josh is a complete idiot with no personality and no talent, as a teacher. Don't waste your money the greens are like putting in a bunker and the course is in terrible condition. The people who check you in are clueless and rude, so they always manage to start your day off on the wrong note. Trust me, I was a member of the crappy course for 4 miserable years, but I got sick of it and I'll never play it again. If you want something in good condition, inexpensive and with people who can actually play the game try Winter park Pines or Dubsdred
