TLDR at bottomWas paired with a couple, but one of which was a belligerent drunk who's girlfriend wanted him cutoff from alcohol. She had me hide his flask to prevent his continuation of drinking. No big deal as it's golfing and drinking is commonplace, but he made the cart girl feel awkward when he was aggressively requesting drinks while his girlfriend was begging her to cut him off. Cart girl looked to me and I gave the cut him off look several times. Well, ends up she phones that in to the rest of the staff and at the turn he goes to the snack shack to get 3 shots real quick, he's informed he's cut off. I confirm it was the cart girl and our advice that led to this. After the turn and this chaos, the group ahead of us turns into a 6 some. (4some max where I come from). Well, marshall Dan Daywalt decides to tell my 3 some, with drunk guy too belligerent to play, that we need to keep up the pace. Let me confirm, it's me and 1 solidly playing woman who's teeing off the lady tees. He's on us at the green waiting for us to finish putting. Well, we putt out, drive to the tee box, only to see that the 6 some is still teeing off?! What would you have us do here, marshall? Well, we let them finish teeing off and playing their fairway shots and then tee off ourselves. Literally, we pull up to the first ball to have marshall Dan Daywalt intimidating us and ordering us to play faster.I ask for advice as I'm a solo player, paired with a guy so drunk they've cut him off prior to the turn, and are allowing a 6 person group to play in front of us... what would you have us do here? His response, pace of play. I say, it's me and one lady playing behind a 6 some. You've paired me with a belligerent drunk who I've assisted in cutting off, who has also stolen beers from me and joked/threatened to take my club if I don't give him liquor. Final straw for marshall Dan. It's time to leave for me.I request a refund. I'm refused.Backlog, I played here my first time a week ago and had a great time! That's why I cut out of work early, drove an hour to get here, spent $60 on food and drinks, and $70 on the round... only to get told I have to play with a belligerent drunk, behind a 6 some, and leave if that wasn't kosher. NEVER would I play here again. AWFUL place. TLDR:Paired my solo self with a beligerent drunk who's girlfriend had me hiding his liquor, who he ended up stealing beer from me and holding my clubs hostage in exchange for more liquor... was placed behind a 6some when 4 players is the cap, to be told play faster or leave. Left, no refund given. DO NOT PLAY HERE.
Played the course last Sunday. It was in great shape, the amenities such as the chipping green, putting green, golf carts (which are mandatory) and the GPS on the golf carts were first rate. The course was in very good shape, the clubhouse is beautiful. Hard course to play in the afternoons with the wind picking up.
