Go for the views, not the golf. This course sends out 5-somes as the rule rather than the exception. There was a 5-some ahead of us and a 5-some ahead of them. We were a 3-some but they added a 2-some to our group to make it 5. In fact, almost everywhere you looked there were 5 people on a hole. Very slow play. No marshall. We quit after 5 1/2 hours and 17 holes because the sun went down. We started late, too and I hear that is also commonplace here. Seen the view. Wouldn't play the course again.
My old home course. Beautiful if not banged up at times, and slow. I will only play first thing in the morning, but when there's nobody out there it's probably the best deal in golf. Expect six hour rounds once the crowds arrive. It's a zoo. After a while I went to lesser courses that were much further away cuz I couldn't take the waiting. The rough could use a manicure, but fairways and greens are in decent shape.
