I love this golf course, and I prefer this golf course even over the more famous south. Both are in great condition, but this course, though still challenging, but more forgiving than the tantalizing south.

This is how golf should be! What an absolute pleasure it was to play here. The course was well manicured, especially for this early in the year. Tee boxes could use a little work, but the fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. Greens roll real fast, so make sure you practice putting on the practice green (which rolled true and was a good preview of the actual greens). Overall, the course is very fair. If you hit the ball straight, you will have no problems. Rough was not incredibly brutal in length, but it will definitely take some getting used to before you can hit out of them. The best part of the course is the view. You have an unobstructed view of the Pacific from almost every hole. Absolutely breathtaking. Also, the rental clubs are Titleist AP1 irons, Scotty Cameron putter, Vokey wedges, and a 909 D3 driver. Although it is expensive if you are not a San Diego resident, I feel it is worth every penny for a truly awesome golfing experience.
