A "hidden gem" in the Berkeley Hills. Designed in 1920 by Robert Hunter (co-designer of Cypress Point, Monterey Peninsula CC, and the Valley Club of Montecito) in collaboration with Willie Watson (architect of the Olympic Club Lake Course. Not long and relatively few hazards but a tough, hilly layout with deceptively difficult greens and stupendous views of the entire Bay Area. Currently undergoing a long awaited (and overdue) course restoration consistent with the much of the original Hunter design. An elegant Tudor-style 1920 clubhouse designed by noted Berkeley architect Walter Ratcliff Jr. completes what promises to become one of the premier golf venues in the area.
