Just got finished playing 18 from the back tees. Not a great score but the course was in really good shape. Greens were tricky and the tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. The sand traps had newer sand in them, but with the recent rains they were a little damp and some of the mud started to come up but they were still fluffy enough to play a full swing.
This course is a total waste of time and money and not much fun to play at all. The fairways are deplorable and the greens aren't much better. The bunkers are hard as a rock. The fairways are lined with houses on both sides and it feels like you're playing in someone's backyard (because you are). The course ranger is a real pain in the neck constantly telling you to speed up (even if you play at a decent rate). There was no one behind us and he kept pushing us for no apparent reason. If you want to enjoy your round of golf avoid this course like the plague
For what should be a nice, neighborhood golf course, this one is terrible. There is more bare dirt than green grass. It has been this way for years. It's not a single year issue. The owners of this course don't know the first thing about watering and maintenance. Steer clear of this course (unless you like playing golf on bare dirt)!
Friendly staff. No bunker on small chipping green, poor turf on driving range, practice putting green turf thin, splotchy. Nice layout, challenging greens and approach to greens. Bunkers hard pack dirt rather than sand. Fairways in good shape. Marginal clubhouse (snack bar).
